Short answer

Yes. Open store.epicgames.com in your phone's web browser, sign in to the same Epic account you use on PC, open the free game, tap Get, then Place Order (the total is $0.00). The game is added to your Epic library for good, and you can install it later on your PC. Use the browser, not the Epic Games Store mobile app: the app is for mobile games, which have their own weekly freebie. 📱 How to claim a free Epic PC game on your phone

  1. Open store.epicgames.com/free-games in Chrome, Safari or any mobile browser.
  2. Sign in with the same login you use on PC. Epic's FAQ warns that if your account uses a Gmail address with a password, signing in with the Google button instead creates a separate account.
  3. Tap the free game, then Get. Check the total says $0.00 and tap Place Order. You don't need a payment card.
  4. Done. It's in your library, and you can install it any time from the Epic Games Launcher on your PC.

If the page gets cramped, switch your browser to desktop site mode. Claiming works the same.

🧩 PC freebies vs the Epic mobile app

  • PC free games are claimed on the website or the PC launcher. Claim from any browser, play on PC later.
  • The Epic Games Store mobile app has its own free mobile game every Thursday. Epic says the app is on Android worldwide, and on iPhone and iPad in the EU and on iPhone in Japan and Brazil (Epic: mobile store).
  • Either way you keep it. Epic's FAQ says a claimed free game stays in your library after it's no longer free (Epic Games Store FAQ, more on keeping them).

🛠️ If it doesn't show up on your PC

  • Check you're signed in to the same account on both devices (Epic's FAQ lists separate Google-login and console-linked accounts as the usual cause).
  • The store page says In Library when you already own it.
  • Missed the window? Epic says you can't get it free after the promotion ends, so claim before the deadline (what time Epic free games change).
